Join Philly Queer Birders and Audubon Mid-Atlantic for a springtime bird tour at the Discovery Center! Every year, our reservoir and trail are visited by over 170 different species of birds; learn how to use tools to identify them and other great resources from our leaders.

Philly Queer Birders (PQB) started in March 2021 to create queer community, learn about our feathered friends, and explore all the great birding that Philadelphia has to offer. We encourage all skill levels to join, even if you have never been birding before! It's important to create LGBTQIA+ spaces in the outdoors and we strive to make PQB welcoming, accessible, and fun for all those who appreciate birds. Extra binoculars are always available, and we try to visit places that are close to public transit. Bring a friend, a partner, the kiddos, or just yourself! We welcome all birders who align with our values, and seek to center the experiences and knowledge of queer people. We hope you'll join us at an upcoming walk, no registration required!
