James McLane Family Challenge Course (10am-4pm)

Are you ready for a challenge? The Philadelphia Outward Bound School (POBS) change lives through challenge & discovery, and is hosting friends, family, and neighbors on the James McLane Family Challenge Course at The Discovery Center. The entire event runs from 10am-4pm, but the participants can expect the experience to last around 1 hour. This is a group activity where participants support each other through the challenges.

REQUIREMENTS:  Participants must be 12 years of age or older. To prepare for the day, interested participants are required to wear sneakers/ closed toe shoes with a sturdy sole. The last signup will be at 3:00pm so interested participants are encourage to come early! Registration starts at 10am.

REGISTRATION:  Registration takes place onsite and all interested participants must sign a risk & liability form before partaking in the event. A parent or guardian must be present to sign a waiver for participants under the age of 18. Outward Bound will provide helmets and body harnesses to all visitors. All gear must fit in order to participate in the event.
