Mussel Maniacs, 10am-12pm
Audubon Mid-Atlantic’s monthly freshwater mussel measuring event. Sign up to help measure mussels is required in advance. Please email bria.wimberly@audubon.org to sign up. Observation of the mussel measuring is open to all visitors!

Ziplining in Costume, 12pm-4pm
Registration begins at noon and ends at 3:45pm. Ziplining time slots are: 12:15pm, 1:20pm, 2:40pm, and 3:45pm. Plan to participate for about 45 mins to an 1 hour. All participants must be able to wear a harness and helmet properly, so plan your costume with that in mind and please wear close-toed shoes. Ages 8+

Family-Friendly Creature Feature, 12pm-4pm
Discover some creatures that make their homes in the trees, water, and nature in Philadelphia.

Tours of The Discovery Center, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm
Have you ever wondered where the water in the reservoir came from? Or why The Discovery Center was built? Join these tours and learn all of that and more.

Flashlight Trail Tour, 5pm-6:30pm
What happens in nature after dark? Follow staff from Audubon Mid-Atlantic and The Discovery Center along our trail to find out if it’s spooky or not! Bring your own flashlight or borrow one of our lanterns and perhaps find some treats along the way. The tour is family-friendly, but will be traversing our trail in the semi-darkness. Strollers may be difficult to maneuver.
