New Year, Who dis? It’s a new year, time for a new list! Join Audubon Mid-Atlantic and The Discovery Center as we welcome the In Color Birding Club to the Strawberry Mansion Reservoir. We'll be hiking around the reservoir to find those rare and wintering waterfowl that call The Discovery Center home. In Color Birding Club is a group aimed and dedicated to making the outdoors a welcome and open space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) individuals and their allies. This unique program aims to break down the barriers of green spaces for BIPOC individuals. Bring warm clothes and binoculars if you have them. Bird guides and binoculars are also available for loan. Meet in the lobby of The Discovery Center by 8am. Guests under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The bird tour will include walking along our trail, water walk, and up stairs to our observation tower. Restrooms and water fountains are available in the lobby.
