Strawberry Mansion community members will take part in our community science initiative for our fresh water mussel nursery. Guests will learn about the importance of the watershed health, and how mussels contribute to that health. Then participants will measure the mussels and that data will be sent to the Philadelphia Water Department Science team lead by Lance Butler. We will then transition into a cleanup of our riparian buffer between the trail and reservoir.
