Every month Philadelphia Outward Bound School and Audubon Pennsylvania in Philadelphia host a free, community-based program called Discovery Days! This month, we will be commemorating Martin Luther King Jr. with a day of service from 11-4PM on Saturday, January 19th. Watch the G-rated movie “Our Friend, Martin” and learn more about the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Members of the public are also welcome to participate in an interactive video shoot with MyNEWPhilly to promote a new project called Clean Water for Community. Later in the day, we will be screening the PG-rated movie “Boycott” that tells the brave story of Rosa Parks. We will conclude the day with a community clean-up in East Fairmount Park. This family friendly event is free to attend and has something for people of all ages to enjoy! We hope to see you there!!
