Join Audubon Mid-Atlantic and Philly Queer Birders for a spring migration bird tour. Every year, billions of birds return to the area looking for nesting spots. We'll take a tour of the reservoir and look for these migrant species as they either set up nests, or refresh as they continue their migration journeys.
About Philly Queer Birders: Philly Queer Birders started in March 2021 as a way to create queer community, learn about our feathered friends, and explore all the great birding that Philadelphia has to offer.
We encourage all skill levels to join, even if you have never been birding before! It's important to create LGBTQIA+ spaces in the outdoors and we strive to make PQB welcoming, accessible, and fun for all those who appreciate birds. Extra binoculars are always available and we try to visit places that are close to public transit. Bring a friend, a partner, the kiddos, or just yourself! We welcome all birders who align with our values, and seek to center the experiences and knowledge of queer people. We hope you'll join us at an upcoming walk!
